Early morning bathers in the holy waters of Mother Ganga
Acrylic on canvas
76x102cm on stretched canvas
$1750
Early morning bathers
Varanasi was a feast for all senses - sight, sound, smell and taste. The spiritual capital of India, it draws Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the Ganges River’s sacred water and perform funeral rites. It was a most memorable visual experience watching early morning bathers cleansing, just alongside where spiritual rituals were performed. The green boat represents the circle of life.
