Peter Brushfield
Peter's paintings are a response to his wanderings through the environment, both physical and metaphysical, so that each painting becomes a contemplative metaphor. His subject matter relates to the landscape and the people and places where he has spent time and where he has lived.
His works look to a degree of movement and colour, lively brushstrokes and at times, near abstract forms support the structure of the paintings so that they combine to become a harmonious whole.
Peter's marks are from the heart. He lives in far north NSW.
