I have been chasing beauty in one form or another for most of my painting life.
I find beauty in the smallest things - a curling arabesque of flaking paint, the soft fold of fabric, colour slowly leaching from an ancient wall, the softness and warmth of flesh.
In these paintings I have combined the richness of colour and texture as a foil for the beauty of the female form.
