Dylan Cooper - Mist
Making sense of the world is unique and personal to us all, we all find different ways in responding to what we see, hear or encounter on our journey.
I am focused on interpreting my journey and making sense of past and current experiences through painting compositions that personally excite me and question what is perceived as beauty.
Through impressionistic brush strokes, colour, light, subject matter, imperfections and a slight warping of reality, I ask the viewer to consider beauty without total perfection.
We as humans are not perfect and always find imperfections with our very own reflection, lives or surroundings, I am questioning what is beauty and why are we so obsessed with it?
