Francis Cloake is a Byron Bay based photographer. After taking time out to raise a family, she returned to photography in 2018 with the fine art photographic series, Surf.
Francis undertakes an all-consuming process of conceptualising, sourcing and digitally manipulating her subjects and images in Surf. Her work captures moments in time on Australian surf beaches in this series of works.Francis has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in London and Australia. She has been a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prizevand the Olive Cotton Photographic Portrait Prize. |
