Kate Pittas - Mist

Kate Pittas is a Brisbane based artist who paints contemporary Australian landscapes. She often draws on past travels and experiences throughout Australia to create landscapes with a sense of nostalgia and romanticism. Kate has a lifelong love affair with colour and believes it is her superpower. She uses lashings of it in all her work to create evocative & highly expressive pieces.
After studying Fine Arts and teaching as an Art Teacher for nearly 10 years, Kate decided to take the plunge and follow her dreams three years ago and now paints full time.
