You wouldn't think that on the way to the local tip you see this incredible view. Whilst the days were still steamy and the sugar crop quite young, the view to the Condong Mill was extraordinary. The sugarcane glistened in the sunlight emerging from the thick clouds. The mill pumped out steam. And sweat trickled down my face.
