I’m fascinated by the space between the land and the sea. It's constantly changing, tides moving in and out, waves crashing, sand being pushed to and fro, wind and light always moving. It feels ephemeral. For this series of paintings I used watercolour and ink to try to capture that constant movement. Some of the inks are iridescent so they change depending on the light, just as the landscape does.
