"Even before I moved to the Tweed Coast, I’ve been painting these seascapes. Long stretches of beach looking south to Cabarita Beach and north to Kingscliff. Catching the morning light or late afternoon sunsets. The beach is never crowded. People walk, surf, swim and fish. Seagulls search for food and run as the waves come in. Crabs scurry and hide as you approach. Sea mist creates a soft filter and mutes the colours and calms the senses."
